Location Recce

Location Recce   What ideas do you have on where you are going to film? Some locations where I could film are:  In the school -  Inside being filmed on green screen -  Outside of school (possibly in a shop with permission to film) -  Evaluate potential locations against each other: Filming in the school is good as its easier to film as well as having access to a location which i know is somewhere i can film. It can also make it easier to film the advert. Filming in the school is suitable for my advert as it is appropriate to film in, and you could get others to be in your advert to advertise the product and make it look appealing which also goes towards creativity as making others tasting the chocolate.  Filming inside on a green screen makes it easier for me to make the advert as well as having access to it from the school. It will also be easier to edit once done. This would be technical as it would need to edited for example the chocolate bar...

Rationale for chosen idea

There will be a group of kids around a playground in a school at break and one of them will open the pack of dairy milk chocolate bars and taste it, as he opens the packet on the chocolate and bites into it his face lights up with s big smile on his face so bright that everyone stops what they are doing and look at his lit-up face enjoying the bar. They all come around him and he looks confused and one of the kids put their hands out signalling they want one he gets happy that they also want one, so he starts handing out the bars of chocolate to everyone else and they all are happy and as they try it too their faces light up with joy. I picked this idea as it is the best one to do and it is a good story. After the kids have all tried the bar at the end it will switch to a narrator talking about the chocolate and the goodness of it and where to get it including a text of the chocolate's slogan.

The history of the chocolate I have selected.

My Cadbury Product What product have you chosen and why?   The product I chose is Cadbury's dairy milk. I chose this because it is a good simple chocolate to talk about.  When did Cadbury first launch the product?  Cadbury first launched dairy milk chocolate in the year 1905.  Who do you think is the audience for the product, when it launched and is it the same now?  For this product I think the audience is around the age range of 8+ (8-50+). This product was launched in the year 1905. Dairy milk chocolate is not the same now they have an even smaller bar called Cadbury dairy milk little bar and the normal bar which has sections to it and then they have the really big bar that has 3/4 pieces per row, however they all taste the same they just have different forms.  Describe the  packaging. The packaging of dairy milk chocolate is a purple wrapper that has a normal simple font and white writing that says dairy milk and the Cadbury l...

Response to the client brief

Image
Explanation demographics: The information I have about the audience is that they are of the ages 8-30 and is that they are of both genders' male and female. I would add in my advertising campaign is appropriate music in the background to keep the audience engaged and I would also add many images that relate to the Oreo Dairy Milk chocolate to make the audience interested when watching the ad. The advantages there are to making my advertising campaign for this audience is that it is easy and that it isn't a hard target audience to make an advertising campaign for as they are of a young age group. The challenges I foresee in making my advertising campaign for this audience is that they won't see the whole advert for example they'll just see it and end up go buying it instead of watching the ad which tells them what the chocolate contains and why they should buy it.  Conventions: My advertising campaign conventions that I will include in my work are music, images, narrat...

Case Studies of Advertising Campaigns

Image
KFC Hot Wings - YouTube My Case Study Advert:    My food campaign is KFC, in the first advert the product is their hot chicken wings bucket. The print advert of kfc is from 2022 and the tv advert is from the year 2013. This advert would be displayed on TV and on walls on posters for both versions of the ad. I found the print advert on google images and the tv advert on YouTube.  Aims:  The print advert aims to create awareness of their product to their customers to intrigue them when they see it on posters in public places and the tv advert created awareness by advertising it on tv which catches people's attention when they watch their ad, and it catches their eye to make them buy it. This is not a new product they are just promoting and putting their product out there to show their customers what other products they could buy. Advertising this product will increase sales as many people buy this product now a days implying it is good and their advertisi...

Initial Notes on Chocolate Bars

Image
In Cadbury caramel's packaging there is the chocolate to show what is going to be in the chocolate (caramel). On the packaging it is yellow implying the colour/image of the caramel within the chocolate. The slogan for this chocolate is "still got it". In terms of the taste of this chocolate it is smooth and soft and as you bite into it the caramel oozes into your mouth giving it the caramel flavour. This chocolate is luxury because caramel is a rich flavour and not a type of daily chocolate to be having every day and you wouldn't really get it on the go. The chocolate is more aimed to adults. this is because middle aged people are more likely to get it as a treat or gifts more than younger people and its more suitable for adults. This is the previous advert for this chocolate,  Cadbury's Caramel 1980 ad - YouTube In Cadbury's white Oreo chocolate, the packaging has a white design to represent how the chocolate is white. Also, on the packaging the word white ...
