Legal and Ethical Considerations with my final pitch
Legal and ethical issues:
Before creating my adverts there are several legal and ethical issues to consider. When making an advert in the UK, there are a few laws that I need to have met the requirements of to have a good advert. Some issues I need to consider are:
Honesty: If the consent I have gotten is true to say or not when using copyright ideas in my advert.
Legal: ensuring the advert portrays the criteria.
Good enough: If the advert is worthy of displaying to the audience.
Description: A well enough description of the chocolate and portraying it in the right manner for the audience to get influenced to buy the product.
Responsibility: Only indicating legal behaviour and to be responsible for it.
Legal and ethical issues will need to be considered to follow the correct guidelines to avoid any issues, double checking and research will be done to avoid any issues or breaking/going against any guidelines.
Legal and ethical issues when filming is I have to ask permission to film and if they want to be in the ad or not. The crew members have to give me permission for them to be in the advert and have consent.
The ASA guidelines I would have to follow is the child code where they would have to have parents' permission to film and would have to go through regulations, so the child is safe. Another guideline the environmental control which is the location where we would be filming and if anything is destroyed this could result in a fine.
In the TV advert there will be appearances of the crew members and them talking with one another the ASA guidelines are to be followed in this case consent and permission will be needed from them and parents to be in the advert as well as the child’s safety.
In the Radio advert there will be voiceover of the different crew members having a conversation about the chocolate, the ASA guideline again would be consent and permission for their voices to be in the advert. Images included in the ads will be from online and referred to including who its made to avoid copyright issues, if I cannot use images from online, I will make and use my own.
